In two weeks I'm gonna do a live gig with 6 friends of mine. We've done maybe 6-7 gigs in the last 10 years so we're not really an active band :) last time was 2-3 years ago.  This song is a song we're gonna do, so during my research for the chords I also did a quick recording to be sure I could play and sing it.

Recorded live on my BR800, with my "solo live setup" (conenser + 2 dynamic + plugged in electro-acoustic Morgan guitar)

If you wanna check out the originals in Norwegian and Danish here's a couple of links:

Poul Krebs "Sådan nogen som os":

Here's a rough translation:

Come and sit down
Or come and lie down
Come let me feel you again
Come and hold me
Just hold your arms around me
Can we say we start from here, my friend

We have been out in the universe
As two satellites on each our ways
But fortunately we have landed
And you right beside me

People like us, we need a lover
And that lover I had thought should be you
So sit down, we are soon there
As two scouts on the right path

Yes, we've got each other
There are no other
And what we dreamed about, that's what it took
No one discusses
No one who exposes
each other, and least of all themself

We are richer in experience
And the debt is erased for a while
But the matter what I say
So is it just words that come out of my mouth

I listen to a lot of music sung in languages I can't comprehend. One of the things I like about it, is that it really highlights a singer's delivery.  I haven't read your translation yet. Your delivery is so fantastic on this song, I think knowing what the song is about would be a distraction.

Norwegian Sounds like such a Bad-Ass Language when you sing it G!

Everything sounds like: "We are gonna drink then Kick your ass!"
