Brand new Gretsch G5120. Me very happy.
Dance as if no one were watching.
Sing as if no one were listening.
And live every day as if it were your last.

Congrats :)

I've got Fender and Gibson bases well and truly covered, but that Gretsch sound is ... wow! Lovely tone.

And that bigsby - yum... I've been learning (or trying to learn) to do the same sort of thing on a strat.

Sounds like you might have had some severe noise suppression switched on when you recorded the guitar - fine once the drums got going, but that's what was making the strange effects on the guitar at the start.

Nice post - I reckon more of us ought to do this sort of thing (capture that "yeah!!" moment for posterity) when we get new guitars!

That sounds incredible.  Apparently a big ol Gretsch was what Neil Young recorded most of his new album with, all that wonderful full sound he got.

Congrts! - Sounds great 'lectric!

What are you playing it through?
And  - what are you playing at 2:20? That sounds very familiar to me (my old man used to listen to stuff like this when I was a kid)
It ain't pretty being easy.

Okay to Cover
