Hello all!

A couple months ago I downloaded FL-studio and purchased Kaossilator Pro. I hadn't have time to get familiar with them - fortunately on Sunday here was a rainy day and it was perfect day to start with them.
So, I 'played' the drums and one synth line on Kaossilator and another synth and bassline on midi keys via FL-studio and added slight e-gtr on the backround, too.

I was already posting it, but then I imagined Jim's voice on this...and sent it to Jim. He got an idea leave some room for lead guitar and forwarded this to Norway. The final result is here...

There's a story about one person on the lyrics - can you guess who James is singing about?

You're not what I imagined
You're so different
If I ever get to meet you
Id like to shake your hand
All that mattered was the music
Getting lost in the groove
Touching base with your friends
Knowing from just a look

Break for guitar

The road is all you live for
So many paths you've crossed
You met your gods and your heroes
And they met you
They met you
The crowd called out your name
And then called out for more
The rush you got you can't explain
Or replicate elsewhere

Break for guitar

You got so high
You needed something more
To keep the buzz
To keep the buzz
Friends where lost along the way
Makes it all the more hard to believe
That you're still here

Thanks a lot James and Geir. Thanks for the listening...

let me start of by saying that this is really delicious music and a great collab, inspiring as well.

Kari – excellent song writing, very "World" indeed.

Geir – tasty licks on the guitar work.

Jim – your vox and lyrics are the magic touch.

i'm on my third listen as i type this and insprired as i recently ordered an inexpensive midi controller and downloaded FL-Studio.

Must be Keith Richards...I am going to listen to this one a lot.  I haven't got much in the way of comments right now other than, Holy Sh$t guys.  I love this site.  This is the kind of stuff that really turns my crank, listening to these kind of spontaneous colaborations.  Wonderful guys, just wonderful.

I was originally gonna say its about Geir and his time as a Norwegian rock god in his youth, but yes, then I remembered the keef thread.  But could it also be about a young Geir?

This is atmospheric music at its very best. Wonderful percussion and keys, Geir's guitar work is sublime and Jim's vocal is perfection.

This one needs more than one listen to appreciate it's brilliance.

Top work Guys.
