break out the drums, dude!!!

i agree with the consensus that the drums do sound slightly robotic.

they are what they are and all i can say is,

DUDE, BREAK OUT THE DRUMS!!!  :D  ;)

beyond that minor critical point, i think this is an excellent cut, Hardlock.

Sounds a really fun tune. I have a couple of projects at this point, however, I would love to apply drums to this or one of your works. As you are an ex- pro, i am a current non pro--!!??

Awesome tune Hardlock.

I always enjoy your guitar playing..great chord strumming and tone along with your beauty fills and solos. It nothing but inspires me more. Your vocals are very good on this. I would say its your best song altogether.

Can`t wait to hear it with drumbum drums :)

I tried real hard to find something to criticize, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with this. The mix is great, the arrangement is well thought out, and the tones you chose are perfect for this style.  I agree with Ted - the vocal delivery is most important and you nailed it.  You got the most out of the drum machine that was available.  If you wanted to go commercial with this, then live drums would take it to that level.

Again, nothing to criticize at all. If you wanted to experiment, I would try simplifying your lead part a little, and play fewer, more purposeful notes.  Don't get me wrong, it's great now and has a kind of loose coolness to it. The other approach might not be an improvement at all, but it would be interesting to play with.

I wonder if another background instrument would add to it or just make it busy sounding.  It's so good now I don't know if you would want to mess with that.

Very cool. Well done!
