since i sold my keyboards and Ibanez Jazz box to cure my last GAS attack, i got this Ibanez Gio, a Strat copy on eBay to keep something electric in my kit.

won it for $57.00 and literally unpacked it about two hours ago.

it's going to need to be tweaked and have some new strings, but i thought i'd give it a test run.

This sounds very good.  Its almost traditional playing here, which I totally didn't expect.  Your are a damn fine guitar player.  I haven't heard this side of you for a while.  I really like this.

except for my MIM Fender Jazz bass and my Seagull S6, Ibanez has been my choice of guitars.

and to be honest, i'm impressed with sound of this entry level guitar.

i think it will be a welcome addition once i get it set up properly.

i'm kinda having a GAS attack thinking now that mid level Ibanez axe might be the cure.

Sounds like a real good buy, great sound and a nice tune to try it out on. I personally think that a lot of the tone and feel comes from the fingers and yours sound very talented to me.............Willie

Ibanez makes some fine Guitars!
I used to have a RG5050 Sold it and Bought an EX3700 early 90's model.
You really don't see those anymore.
Very soothing piece of Music!!
