Another Honker tune.

with limited information
you might jump to conclusions
if you don't have the full story
you won't find the solutions
in isolation
from your skewed perspective

we all have different opinions
and we should share them
if your quick to pass judgements
i hope you don't regret them
in isolation
from your skewed perspective

it can't just be all about you
you've others to consider too
it's so easy to act just on impulse
in isolation

sometimes our emotions take over
and we can lose our control
we forget to look before we leap
who knows where it's gonna go

I've given this quite a few listens. Musically its fantastic. Lyrically its got a very dark but relevant message.

Stunning music as per usual, and love the lyrics that are brilliantly delivered

Love that dreamy guitar that comes in at 1.47.

Another Honker winner!

i hate explaining lyrics so i wont.  but they words where inspired by something that happened at work but they can be about anything open to your own personal interpretation, they are not dark it's about communication.

Great song from all "perspectives"!  Love the guitar effects and James nailed the VOX as usual!  Well done!

Those things we take for granted - when we're young and immature - will surely return to haunt us when we're old and insecure

Was this cathartic to write? (If you don't mind my asking.)

The lyrics read like a passive-aggressive e-mail message I would write, but not send. My cursor hovers over the send button until my better judgment regains control.  Next time maybe I'll turn the unsent message into lyrics.

Interesting Jim. That's the beauty of perspective, and possibly cultural differences I guess.

When I first heard the song, I thought it could have been written by Richard Farley on Feb. 15 1988. Sometimes you just never know.

Welcome to the Shadows

And with that, I have completed the best Thread Jacking ever.

The Thing about good lyrics, is that the listener can take what they will from them and make sense of them from their own perspective.

This song does just that...

Great Song!
