James, would you mind posting the lyrics?

here i am self contained
everything i need at hand
i'm fully occupied, occupied

i haven't left the house today
why would i want to anyway
i haven't left the house today
i don't intend to
i don't intend to

busy industrious
never illustrious
i keep myself to myself, myself

going from room to room
doing what's needing doing
ive got the time on my hands

i haven't left the house today
why would i want to anyway
i haven't left the house today
i don't intend to
i don't intend to

look out my window
i watch the world passing by
i just don't get it

nothing's predictable
or set in order
it's too confusing

i haven't left the house today
why would i want to anyway
i haven't left the house today
i don't intend to
i don't intend to
i ditched my bar chorded guitar and did some fresh keys on to mikes post

This is really taking shape. It's sounding rather good.

The music has a really good hook and I like the running guitars, I tried to reflect that in the bass line without over-blowing it.

The lyrics are inspired. I read 'The curious incident of the dog in the night time' recently which was funny and sad and insightful. It describes the internal world of an asbergers sufferer - whether or not it's a true reflection of the condition, I can't say - however I can see the parallels.

fascinating.

i decided then to add another two vocal tracks, both singing deliberately off key in order to give the song a manic feel. dont know need feedback on this is it a step too far.

its actually a well written and well researched novel and working with adults with the condition  i found the book to ring very true, tho each  person with the condition is an individual and are affected in individual ways

QuoteTime for nevermet?
will let rik make that call. personally i'd like to start from scratch as it gets more distorted each take. unless you posted your indivividual tracks and i could fanny about with all the different bits to make it less muggy, but despite that its a great song.

I couldn't agree more, the song is really coming along. I do think the second voice is a bit much. I like the idea on paper but I didn't think it worked all that well. What do you think?

I am going to work on it today, reduce the distortion and perhaps change the effects on the lead guitar part. I'll leave off the first guitar solo as well. Any other ideas? I wish there was a way to change the guitar effects after it's been recorded. Oh well.

Also, if it's alright with you oldrottenhead I asked cato 1 to sing your fantastic lyrics. I just want to hear what it sounds like with a womens touch. let me know.
