I saw this thing at a recent music industry show in Melbourne.

It looked really good.  I was one of the first in for the day so there was not many people there yet and a cool guy from Roland gave me a personal demo just like the ones you see on youtube for the BR800.

I was very impressed.  He said would cost around $350 aussie dollars.

Has anyone on the forum tried one yet?

I haven't tried one but it seems like a pretty cool product for the money. The only problem is that it requires Windows, which I don't use. If not for that, I'd be tempted to buy one. It probably won't appeal to most of our members because portability is important to them and they don't want to be tied to a computer. But that's never been much of an issue for me. Although, my main computer is in a different room of the house than my music gear, so I'd probably have to buy another computer just for the V Studio. That changes the cost quite a bit.
