Thanks for the comments everyone , I enjoyed playing this one .
Hoop , I'm definitely not very technical in my approach to recording , in fact if I mess with EQ and reverb it usually makes things worse , so it's two mic's , condenser for the guitar( Rode NTa) and dynamic ( shure 355 vintage ) for vox , and try to do it iive , it makes me work harder to learn the song

Wonderfully well done performance!!

The sound, the phrasing, and the emphasis, are all perfect; on both the instrument and the vox.
That you did this live is all the more impressive; and leads me to think you could do the tribute show that ORH refered to.  It would be great!!

Please keep 'em coming.  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Let it be known, there is a fountain, that was not made, by the hands of men.

I much prefer the Bryan Ferry version (guess why I'm called "Ferryman....") but again this is a stunning vocal performance Rob, and so beautifully recorded - the vocals are crystal clear. You are blessed with a stunning voice and you use it well - right up there with AndyR.

Cheers,

Just finally got to this one.... beautiful.  I have always loved this song and now I like the sound of your's better than the original.

I also appreciated the explanation of the Drop D tuning... I may try this out myself when I come back from my guitar hiatus.

Better than Bob himself... and by quite a way. Sheer f*cking class. You sing and play so purely. I'd pay to come and see you playing live, that's for sure.

Whoah!! Glad this one got bumped!

Blew me away, bro - This is fantastic!!
