Hi Folks.  Been beavering away, learning my new gear amongst other things.  This is a tune and lyrics I imagined while I was on my break.  They were two separate entities and I recorded the instrumental first.  And titled it "Relentless",  however after I completed that recording, i felt the lyrics without a tune would fit in so I busked it over the instrumental track and then fiddled with the mix a bit.  Still not sure how much more I can do, or even whether it was worth it.  But here in all it's glory is : Dark Carnival Queen".

On another forum, someone keeps calling me the Prince of dark carnival music - I thought I ought to have a consort.

Dark Carnival Queen

(You) stole their hearts,
(And) took their money,
(Their) twisted souls,
(Caught) In your honey,

Who are you,
Who are you,
Dark carnival queen,
Where've you been,
where've you been,

Who are you,
Who are you,
Dark carnival queen,
Where've you been,
Where've you been

Cheat their hearts,
Take their money,
Twisted souls,
In your honey,

Evil does and evil do,
Which are you,
Which are you,

Who are you,
Who are you,
Dark Carnival queen,
Dark carnival queen,
Dark carnival queen,
Where've you been,
Where've you been.,
Where've you been,
Where've you been

Another innovative piece from you.

You do some real mysterious music which draws you in and leaves you there at the end, on the edge of a cliff waiting to fall off.

Thanks for a great listen but it did scare the sh1t out of me.

Thank you all for your gracious comments - especially on such a flakey vocal.  I thought the song had some merit, but maybe I was a bit ambitious with my presentation.

Here is the original instrumental - "Relentless".

Anybody fancy a bash at redoing the vocal please feel free to mess.

Very progressive again. The style certainly is not everybody's cup of tea, but it has a mesmerizing feel that keeps you listening.

The version I listened to has no vocals ...I think I'll have to go to that soundclick site again and find the vocal version.
