The closing tag has to have a slash before the keyword, like this:

[boobs]URL[/boobs]

But you had:

[boobs]URL[boobs]

Without the slash, it won't work. That holds true for all BBcode tags that are in pairs (as most are).

[song=][/song]
[soundclick][/soundclick]
etc.

When you want to put BBcode tags in your message but not have them interpreted as such, enclose them in [nobbc] tags, like this:

[nobbc][boobs][/boobs][/nobbc]

The [nobbc] tags are not displayed. So the line above will display:

[boobs][/boobs]

I like to also use the [tt][/tt] tags when displaying code so that it appears in a fixed font.

[tt][nobbc][boobs][/boobs][/nobbc][/tt]

Well, I wasn't planning to add a button because I thought it might encourage overuse of this feature. And I figured it was pretty easy to use without a button. But I've added one just for you. It's a smaller version of this:
