New toys - a new song.  Started as a song and then into an instrumental, then morphed back into a song.

Cheers

I never had time,
With you by yourself,
To visit the stars,
And shew you my life,

We had but a slice,
A piece of the mind,
That others don't see,
It was ours for a while,

A total perhaps.

I remember,
I remember,
I remember.

We had but a slice,
A slice of the mind,
That others don't see,
It was ours - ours for a while,

A total perhaps

I remember,
I remember,

Will you be there,
Waiting for me,
Will you remember,
Of how it could be,

I remember,
I remember
I remember,
Guild Starfire 5, Fender Telecaster, Fender Stratocaster, K Yairi and Walden and a 12 Stagg string acoustic guitar and other music making boxes - including mandolin, bouzouki and 5 string banjo, uke and acoustic bass - a few M-Audio keyboards and a flute - all played and treated with equal love and attention - zoom ut 2 pedal and Logic Pro X

Atmospheric and interesting. This could be in a movie soundtrack.

new toys not a juno di perhaps, i know it has a vocoder but i havent used that on mine yet. i demand new toy info now.

really lush sound laid back but that arabic sounding guitar (i think it's a guitar) lends a little delicate touch of menace to it.

Thanks for the listen guys.

And sorry Jim - not a juno - but I did manage to persuade the wife that the pc was about at the end of its useful life without expensive upgrades - she was taken with the iMac's lack of wires and tidy installation.  So my new toys are an iMac and GarageBand.  And the microphone, which I found clearing out a cupboard.  Belonged to a tape recorder of over thirty ago.

The Juno is next on the list but she would want to sell the Yamaha prs before I aquired anything else.

The vocoder/tuning correction jobbie is built into GB.  Oh yes, it's a guitar  - My Guild StarfireV comes off the wall for this kind of twanging and my Telecaster has a vacation.

Cheers

This is well worth the 5-21 min listen , very nice imagery here , i like the vocoder patch , it adds to the whole feel of the song , ( not a great fan of tuning correction in general , but in this case its good ) that Guild sounds very nice , your vox in general have great presence , great production , love the song

Enjoyed the listen - I can hear a little bit of Roger Waters in there. Not one of your heroes by any chance?

You do great work, Gu.  This is an excellent new direction.  Don't have time to do it justice now (have to go and help make tea), but will give it a proper listen soon.

This has an appealing meditative quality to it. Easy listening indeed. :)
The atmospheric vibe works a treat.

Honour the earth. Without it, we'd be nowhere.

Life is too important to take seriously.
