My argument against beaten path is that it rules out originals. It would be nice if the theme fest could induce some original material as the artist festivals we've been doing don't.

I've just changed my vote to comedy/parody as well.  You'll be amazed to know that I originally voted for progressive - but that's a bit pointless since that's about all I normally do.

I have no idea what to do for this theme though.  I'll have to give it some thought but, if nothing else, I'll enjoy hearing everybody else's stuff.
