Fuzzface got this a few days before I posted the half-finished version yesterday.

This is first-take, done live as I just had written it. Recorded with the mbr on the table in front of me.

The vox are not as rough on this one, and if I'm able to recreate those I might do for the final version

Hell I can't choose... I like both versions of this song.
But I am a sucker for stripped down versions of songs... Well I guess I have chosen.  ;D
This is a great song Geir.

Yes, the vox sound excellent!  I really liked the other ones too, but I suppose for this would be better suited for something more studio quality.

The finished product is going to be sweeeeeeet!!!

Damn...now I like this version more!  :)

For what it's worth, I think you could settle on either one of these recordings, or continue working on it if you're not fully satisfied with either.

I don't think I heard the 'other' version!
But, I know I don't care to!
This is simply too good to change!

Satchwood

This version sounds a bit cleaner, especially your voice!   But, i'm not sure which version is best for the album, not sure which one FF will select...   Your other version got a more gritty, smoke filled room, hard liquor vibe to it, that sounds so authentic!!

I love the guitar in this, the second version (which is your first version), I am torn about the vocals, the first one (your second one) really tears me up with emotion, so I guess I like the first (your second) vocal better.  And I LOVE that guitar solo in the first (your second).  If I had to choose and could only have one version, I would pick the first posted here (your second version).  If you could get the acoustic sound of the second (your first) with the vocal of the first (your second) and don't loose that guitar solo, that would be good.  First (your second) one for me at this point.  DId that make sense (my sense or your sense)

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places
