I spent the whole weekend figuring out what this song was. Then I realized it is from Pet Shop Boys (is it? or was it a cover). Anyway, it is a nice song. I never payed attention to the lyrics in PSB version. Thank you for that. oh! and the vocals are terrific!

She also performed the guitar fills, solo and bass tracks. Most of the work.
