i don't know what its about either (a protest song against rhyming couplets maybe i dunno)

the words

Before it falls apart
Before the anger crashes
And runs the rhyme to ground
This syntax is killing me

the words  they keep coming
they don't make sense
open to
your own
interpretation

try to see
from the readers
perspective
I cant do that
When I don't know
What I mean myself
What I mean myself

I can't stop singing the words
I can't stop singing the words

don't ask me why I do it
I only know I do
I only know I do
I can't stop singing the words

Lets run this rhyme to ground

I really dig the music here Kenneth. Jim, I'm glad you didn't run the rhymes to ground, your writing skills are very round. I was sitting here, with my hound, listening hard and getting wound. The sentiment was piercing, through the sound. I just sharted, my underwear have browned. To the bathroom, what I found, a giant turd, nearly a pound.

yep, I like rhyming. I should write a song about it.

Go with this Tony, you got something for sure, grab ahold, wash your hands first then grab your guitar (always wash your hands before grabbing your guitar), strum like mad and sing this little poem of yours into the night.  Nearly a pound of gold I say.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

Nice job on my crowded mess Jim!

One more song and then it's time for a break.

Great fun, it is a bit crowded but it's got quite a live feel to it as a result. Jim's vox and lyrics work very well with your style Ken, Honker's a stonker!

Cheers,

Nigel

Riveting, pivotal and compelling lyrics Jim.

They make me want to spin
And turn my outsides in
Watching the clock
Rhyming everything I talk

I like the music here as well, it almost has a U2 vibe with the guitars (joshua tree era)
Which is a good thing here. I don't know how you got that sound.
