If this is "The Usual Antics" then I want the album.

Opens the mind to new possibilities.

My kinda thing!

Gu Djin

I really think you should get an oud.

Cool sounds - makes me want to go back to delving into the off centre stuff again.

Guild Starfire 5, Fender Telecaster, Fender Stratocaster, K Yairi and Walden and a 12 Stagg string acoustic guitar and other music making boxes - including mandolin, bouzouki and 5 string banjo, uke and acoustic bass - a few M-Audio keyboards and a flute - all played and treated with equal love and attention - zoom ut 2 pedal and Logic Pro X

I like it, too...what's the stringed instrument? Or is it virtual?

well, this got more attention then i would've considered.

figured it to be destined to the never commented on dregs of the "Original Songs" category.

i'm sure i've had a couple of them that have made it there.

my goal has always been to improvise as much as i can and record in one take with minimal editing.

percussions have eluded me from the start in achieving this goal until i discovered the Korg Wavedrum and have only scratched the surface of what it has to offer.

that's the Koto patch, Cuthbert.

checked out the Sun City Girls, Ted. diggin their edgy feel.

I wouldn't say it's your usual antics, this has less jazz influence and is more a freak out in Japanese tea house. Really enjoyed the koto sound, and the Wavedrum sounds great. They are pretty cool things, I had a quick play on one. You recorded it very well, lovely deep bass sound on the Wavedrum. Hontōni yoi!

Cheers,

Nigel

What is this wavedrum all about.  Give me some tips, how does one play such a beast...what is the secret.
