Hey everyone, been a long time!  I've had many family responsibilities the last few months, but finally got around to writing and recording a new song.  My biggest regret is that I have missed being able to check out all the great music that is posted on this forum.  Please forgive me!

I wrote this song for my wife after a recent milestone anniversary.  It's just a fun, classic Southern Rock thing - not too serious.

By the way - as usual, everything was done on the BR600.

Cool video.
I dig that driving Bass and your axe work is stellar, as usual.
The panning and layering of the guitars are right on point

But man I must say you have taken your vocals up 100%.

Strong and confident, even a little playful, which takes a certain comfort level.

I just love the energy of the song...Great Job, Buddy

We forgive you Rick.  Life happens sometimes.  The important thing is you are back, better than ever.  I am going to go out on a limb here and say this is the absolute best I have heard from you.  I agree with Nelson here on your vocals, there is a edge that seems to have crept in, you are singing this like you mean  it.  Likewise the guitar playing, deadly solo there.  I LOVE THIS SONG. And your composition is spot on.  You are back, better than ever.  The new folks that haven't heard your stuff before are gonna go wild for Rickocaster.

the harp in the end is just the cherry on the birthday cake. Very efficient song, guitar playing and lyrics. You could make a stadium go crazy with that song.

Thanks! If only I had a stadium to play to. That would be sweet! We do have a couple of gigs coming up. Maybe I can talk the band into adding it to the list. At least we could rock the yard...
