i'm sure this one is open to many different interpretations, however just in case anyone thought i have not been born again.

The words

This is a good place to be
To be loved
And to reciprocate
What I have been given
I am at one
A part of the fabric

Ive found myself

I saw the light
In my children's eyes

I found myself

I could die today
A happy man

I found myself

But I am here
For the long haul

I found myself

This contentment
Is worth the struggle
A balancing act
tween light and shade
so hold on to it
and don't let go

I found myself
etc

Fine rock tune! Particularly I liked the bass line and very unique guitar playing (in positive way). Jim, fine job again...

Thanks for listening guys and commenting.
Geir, yesterday I bought myself a Line 6 delay pedal with my music store credit. It has a reverse delay on it , that simulates tape/ digital and analog.
I literally got it home , plugged it in and recorded the song!
That's why there is rythmic inconsistancies, i've got to get used to it.
I'm pleased with the song though, almost fell down when I heard what Jim did with it.
Great vox Jim!
Thanks again for commenting guys!

This time you finish too soon? Hmmmmm..... thats what all of Glasgow say. I like the Honker moniker.

Very interesting sound here.  If it were me I would be tempted to dial that delay guitar down just a tad, it tends to overpower the vocals.  Or maybe the bass needs to come up.  Thats maybe what my ears are looking for, more bass, to propel the guitars along a bit.  And then bring Jims vocals up to match, that would sound real good.  Cool song.
