Sometimes partners start to take each other for granted and they find it hard to move their relationships forward.
Some times to move forward we have to look back to really appreciate, all that we have.

It's really rough but I've working on it for months, now. The tones are terrible but the arrangement is coming along.

Turn Around (Blues take)
By Nelson
Copyright 2010 by Nelson Leach

Verse 1
My good friend stopped by today Said his life was going a stray.
And there are a million places he'd rather be then home.
She used to see the best in me, now her attitude is testing me
Because everything I do seems to be wrong
From the way I chew my food, to the way I tie my boots
And the way I cut that grass,  ain't never right.
As he recounted all their fights and the loneliness at night
I stopped him and said brother Turn Around
Chorus 1
Turn Around here and wipe away your tears and remember the good times that you had.
And though I'm not into giving advise, here's a piece I'll share tonight
Sometime to move ahead you gotta turn around.
Verse 2
Well the wife of my good friend called me up about quarter til 10
I said I don't know where he is if he ain't home
She said lately we just fuss and fight, til I finally asked him why
Everything I say and do is wrong.
From the way I cook the food to the length of the honey do.
And the way I clean this house ain't never right.
As she recounted all their fights and the loneliness at night
I stopped her and said darling Turn Around.
Chorus 1
Turn Around here and wipe away your tears and remember the good times that you had.
And though I'm not into giving advice, here's a piece I'll share tonight
Sometime to move ahead you gotta turn around.
Verse 3
Not so long ago, I was out on the road and we just had another big ole fight.
Man oh man I hate my life and I hardly recognize my wife
So I thought I'd take this young Philly for a ride.
Her kiss was so soft and sweet, it remind how it used to be
And I felt my heart breaking up inside.
As I recounted all our fights and my loneliness tonight
My phone rang and she said daddy turn around.
Chorus 2
Turn Around Dear and wipe away your tears and remember the good times that we had,
here. I just got some good advice, and just had to share it with you tonight.
Sometime to move ahead we have to turn around.
Chorus 1
Turn Around here and wipe away your tears and remember the good times that you had.
And though I'm not into giving advice, here's a piece I'll share tonight
Sometime to move ahead you have to turn around.

Great song Nelson. Not only a great song to sing along with, but love the message in the lyrics. Very nice.

Wow Thanks for the comments guys.
Glad the message isn't too sappy.
I'm trying to write music that a band would have a ball cranking out.
Well Thanks again
