An attempt at a simple song.
I tried to keep it down to 2 chords but it grew a bit.

L&R trax -Strat and GR20 rhythm
Korg 1200, drums, record and mix
MBR mastering, mp3.

I'm not asking to share some heavy load
Or walk along some deserted road
I'm not promising to set you free
I'm not asking that you to follow me
All I'm asking.. is would you sing
All I'm asking.. is would you sing
All I'm asking.. is would you sing.. with me

I'm not trying to make you healthy
Or promising to make you wealthy
I'm not asking you to understand
I'm not asking you to hold my hand
All I'm asking.. is would you sing
All I'm asking.. is would you sing
All I'm asking.. is would you sing.. with me

I'm not asking you to stand in line
I'm not asking if you can spare a dime
I'm not promising better days
I'm not asking you to change your ways
All I'm asking.. is would you sing
All I'm asking.. is would you sing
All I'm asking.. is would you sing.. with me

absolutely brilliant, really strong vocals and what a great song and a really polished piece one of your best but just loving the vox, you should ask willie nelson to cover it and make your fortune.

An attempt at a simple song, thats funny.  Are you saying you suffer from over-complicated-massive-stuffed to the brim-productions?  Man you bass is so good here, thats a great tone and line.  I love this Glenn, simply the truth.  I really like your songs.

Yes I love this one ! Is Motown still alive to produce it ? very catchy indeed, and the mix is perfect, with those harmonies...

Nice bluesy-country rock feel to it.  Doesn't have to be complicated to be a great song.  Nailed it with the bass line and great vox and harmonies.  Might want to bring the drums up in the mix a bit but a great song nonetheless.
"Play because you love it. Don't worry about if it will ever make any money, just understand that playing is an end in itself, and you play music, it will make your life better. And, don't worry about being a star, don't worry about making money, worry about nothing, just sit down with your guitar and let it speak to you and that will make your life better. It will bring beauty into your life. It's a great thing to do."     ---- David Crosby

Great laid-back tune here!   I like your production on this and vocal harmonies & keys; and like what has been said, the bass line and tone sounds great too!

Very profesional and commercial tune.  Witty lyrics, beautiful music and vox...Thanks for sharing........Ted
