Greatings from the south,

So I started writing music with a very talented singer/songwriter/guitarist here in Asheville named Jeff Mettee (http://jeffmettee.bandcamp.com/album/love-smells-good). It's going really well.

So here is one demo we've been working on. I'm curious to get some feedback.

More to come.

I'm getting that Lou Reed vibe here...I remember the instrumental. You sound good together.

I'm always hearing guitar tones first, and they are top stuff. Wonderful vox, love the song entirely.I love the sound changes to make it interesting, just a beautiful song, can't say enough really.

Didn't know you were in Asheville.  I come up for the Warren Haynes Xmas Jam more often than not.

Enjoyable tune.  The guitar is infectious. I'm curious what it would sound like with a full drum kit.

The breakdown in the middle is just great. Can see it being in a movie scene.

Thanks James, it always means allot getting a compliment from you. Same goes for Gritter.

Kenneth, don't believe we've met but you are too kind!! I too notice guitar tones first and therefore put allot of emphasis on them. Thanks you.

Blooby, first of all thank you. You are a very skilled musician and your compliments go a long ways with me. Let me know the next time you're in Asheville. I will definitely come check you out.

Most enjoyable listen, like the others I thought the guitars sounded great plus the vocal is perfect for the song..........Willie

Great tune, Erik - those guitars have a Guided By Voices feel to me, and I liked the coda at the end. Very polished sound!
