I agree with Geir, this is a different look at the pirate life.  You could have subtitled it the "Sentimental Pirate".  Enjoyed the sparce piano, it worked well whateever you thought of it it.

Great song!  Really interesting angle!

And the vocals are superb.  Sounds like David Gilmour in many places.

i must be really losing the plot or drinking too much rum cos i am sure i commented on this one.

A pirate ballad? That must be a first! Not what I expected at all, but I really enjoyed it. It's got a kind of 70s feel with that elec piano, and generally very moody and atmospheric. Your stuff is all getting very sophisticated these days, lots of clever musical parts.
