This is my favorite version of this song.

I love hearing the way some songs mature when you remove the overeager back beat. This is definitely one of those instances.

I think this song could have easily been the backdrop for any one of the "Pretty in Pink" style filcks back in the 80's.
I mean that only as the highest compliment. This song has great potential and sounds radio-ready to me.

It sticks in yer head after one listen, and that is the mark of a great hook.

I would shop this one around if I were you ORH.
