Well, we have 30 minutes remaining before we leave this lovely hut of Geirs and head to the airport. It has been such a fantastic time, we have all enjoyed ourselves hugely, it will be quite sad to leave.

Personally, it has been a real journey for me. Geir refused to drive me to the airport unless I sang, and I reckon that a member (or at least three members) of the drunken louts singing on the Pirate Fest song counts as me singing.

You have to check out Geirs earth closet. Poo has been a major feature of the visit. Tharek has some interesting takes on the finer points of personal space and coca cola bottles.

I'll be sad to leave. So thanks to Geir for being an excellent host, a great collaborator, Tharek for inspiration and James for narcissistic meglomania.

We are here on Earth to fart around. Don't let anybody tell you any different

And you know, that exactly how I pictured it going down.

Well, first of all, the "cabin" looks like a real studio, not just a shack in the woods. Second, I'm glad you're getting Geir's name right (when the Norwegians say it, it sounds like "Gaia" to me....) and third, check out the earth closet? Do you mean you have been doing a poo inventory?

Sounds like a fantastic trip, haven't been able to listen to the final output yet but will do so over the next few days.

Cheers,

Nigel

well geir definitely does need more mirrors in his hut and if i wasnt there to keep them all shipshape and in bristol fashion we wouldnt have got anything recorded.

aside from all their bad habits and petty foibles i can honestly say i have spent the weekend with three of the most considerate, intelligent and wonderful examples of the human race.

geir, tharek and mike thank you for a very special and magical experience that i will remember for as long as my early onset dementia allows.
