Okay, I have four tracks recorded and now want to give each track a different effect.  As per manual, I changed effect input from normal location to track one, then track two, and so forth and found desired effects.  Btut when I leave "effects" the selected effect doesn't stick to my track.  Track reverts back to original sound.  Am I missing something easy here?

Changing the insert location allows you to apply effects to the playback of the track but doesn't re-record it. To do that, you have to bounce the track to another v-track while applying the effects.

Okay, got it.  Thanks for your help.  Just went through whole process start to finish and stored a song to my MAC.  Wow, with this machine, so many options, so little time . . .
