Enjoyed this, I never realized you could even use loops to get vocals as well! That works quite well but I think I prefer a real human as the vox do sound a bit samey in the way they sound across the track. That doesn't notice so much with instruments, and the backing has all come together very well. The structure is nice, not really sure who it reminds me of. Great feel to it through the hwole track.

Cheers,

Hi Neil - sorry to disappoint you, but that's not me in my avatar pic! It's Martin Short as the Mad Hatter from a great TV version of Alice in Wonderland, see here:

I used some of that clip in my version of White Rabbit a while back (see https://songcrafters.org/community/index.php?topic=3980.0) for our Woodstock festival. I do look a bit like an uglier Martin Short (I have a pointy face and a stupid middle class English accent!), which is why I like the avatar pic so much!

Cheers,

Nigel

I don't know what to make of the 'find Nigel' pic, so I'll just comment on the muzak.

Your creative process is over                                   my head.

I don't quite follow the technical explanations, but thanks for providing them anyway.  Sounds like a great bag of tricks to have for a creative fellow.  I enjoyed SHOUT, cool song there Neil.  Like others, I especially like the guitars near the end.  You put a lot of orchestration into it, and I enjoy it.  Perhaps a more mainstream, or pop, or commercial, way to go would be to pick a musical theme and work it throughout the song..... you know, the kiss principle.  I'm just throwing that out there.  I'm no expert on anything.  I like the song a lot just as it is.
