Yeah , what a cracker Bloob , amazing how you achieve such a good sound in a living room of all places , excellent stuff , is every instrument plugged into the BR , how do you mic the drums

This is so unbelievably performed and recorded.  The mix is great, really.  All parts are clear and very well played.  Singer is really frigging good.  It sounds like a top level band on a good night being recorded live by a pro sound engineer, seriously.  Wonders fall from your living room while other dare to sleep, thats what I say.

How do you mic the drums?

I live in family-oriented neighborhood, so the drums are actually a Yamaha DTXpress IV electronic kit to help control the noise. Just a stereo input into the BR-1600.

Great live recording!    Really has a live-concert feeling... but with studio-good quality.  I only semi-remember this song but it sounds like you guys sure pulled it off.  Great sound on the guitars, drums and the lead vox is perfect for the song.  I wish the bass was doing something more contra-rhythmic to the other rhythm elements... but maybe he was trying to emulate the original (I don't know....)     I sure envy having all those recording inputs on the BR-16000.  Sounds like you've got a good system for capturing a live band in action.
