FINally finsihed this new movie score theme i made on my computer and midi sequences.
and a lot of layering of tracks and loops and of course mixng techniques. a fun peice
to compose and arrrange. so i hope this takes u away for a few minute.s u tell me what
kind of movie this could b used for . for me it almost sounds SCI FI. but let s see what
u thinkg. take care NEIL.................................................................................!

Neil, this is wonderful, by far my favourite of yours. I love the layers and the atmosphere you have created here. That voicy synth sound is perfect for this type of music and really sends tingles up the spine. Haunting melodies, lovely orchestral sounds and textures and layers that just build one upon the other. I've had this looping for ages while I've been working and it's just lovely. Would indeed make a great movie soundtrack, something epic. Not sure if it would have to be sci fi, but definitely something grand in scope.

If you like this kind of music, check out a German Band called "Popol Vuh" from the 1970s. They did some womderful atmospheric stuff for the films of Werner Herzog:

BTW, there are a couple of volume "blips" at 1:52 and just after. Not sure if you meant them, but they do jump out a bit and spoil the gradual build for me.

Cheers,

Nigel

Yea, I have to agree with Ferryman, this is a spine tingler.
Neil, this is really beautiful, and could be used in some sort of dream sequence, or as you mentioned sci-fi.
This is going straight to my music files, I really like what you have done here. I can't say enough about it, but let me tell you it will be getting repeated listens.
Keep that music coming Neil.

WOW Neil !!!

This is really great. A majestic sound, that could be used in some grand opening or final scene of an epic film.

Great work.

Like Nigel I'd like to have those blips fixed, other than that : SUPERB !!

Epic! Real professional instrumental stuff, Neil! Beautiful choir on the backround, a lots of fine arrangement ideas (the bass arrangement is absolutely fine). After all...fantastic production! I enjoyed this.

Nice work, Neil. You should remix this to fix the volume blips and fade the ending better (it's a bit abrupt). But, apart from those minor issues, it's quite an enjoyable piece. Well done.

As one of the few guys on the forum who play video games i can say that it sounds quite as soundtracks for epic space strategies like Homeworld and Master of Orion. Also reminds me of Star Trek movies. Fascinating track for sure.
