Bridge Of Dreams

That Adrenalinn sounds killer.  I have one of those older M-Audio Black Boxes with some of the early Adrenalinn presets, but I long for the full-blown unit.

A great post.

I loved it straight from that descending chord sequence on the intro. Nothing beats a Tele for that kind of shimmer and twang. This is a really strong track, Dave. Serious, high-quality songwriting skills, and as always, lots of different elements to take in. I like the way you never take the easy option and make sure everything feels crafted. Great guitar skills, and that 'squelchy' synth break at the end is amazing - kinda reminds me of Jeff Wayne's 'War of the Worlds'. Another BB winner!

Thank you all.  It is so gratifying to have songwriters and musicians and all around good folks such as yourselves listen to and respond to my songs.  It fills me with great joy.  This one was in the works for over a month, started it before my vacation to PEI, it started life as me banging around on my acoustic.  I felt like trying a key I don't normally use so this is in the key of F.  The imagery for the lyrics came from a visit I took with my son to an old Fire house museum while on vacation.  The old pictures on the walls seemed to be speaking to me that day (I do have a vivid imagination I'll admit), and the feeling stayed with me for a while.  That was the seed that really got this one rolling.  I toiled away in isolation, an hour or so at a time for over a month  and then posting it and getting comments from here (around the world) really makes it real for me.  Thank you all.

I thought I had commented on this already? I must have been crossing that bridge of dreams...  ;)

Very smooth and shiny arrangement, BB! Love the guitar sounds and the keys are awesome. You are always able to pack an amazing amount of musical ideas into a single song.
