The only reason for this cover is because I'm absolutely sure that I'm absolutely the FIRST in the world  ::) to cover this rather unknown  ;D song by the Beatles.

Just a Godin  ACS SA classical guitar in the VG-99, to obtain the pad second voice.

Thanks for listening...

Oh well ........

This may not be the first cover of this song , but it's probably the most beautiful. Straight to my files for repeated listens.

Beautifully played.  Love the atmosphere too, but that's some mighty fine picking, sir.

Thanks for posting.

I listened to this a few times and each time I became so entranced by this I forgot to put up a comment.  Simply beautiful, great guitar playing, do you fingerpick this?  You have a Godin ACS SA classical guitar hu.  Thats the one on my wish list.  How is it to play (like a dream I suspect), it sure records well.  Well done, bravo.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

Dear friends, thanks a lot, you all are too kind, thanks, thanks!  :)

Dear Bluesberry, yes, it's just fingerpicking. And quite simple, "technically" speaking. I mean, the difficulties here are not technical. IMO the main problem is to give back, through the cover, the mood of the song. So, few notes here, at the right tempo ("right" by my point of view, tempo here it's slower than the original) and with the right feeling. Now, of course you may play it without the second pad voicing, but I think it adds some "glue" between the few and slow guitar notes.

I add that although in the original the key is F, I've found extremely comfortable for the guitar transposing it in C. Try it, it's easy. It begins with
C9-C-        D-   E      Am9-Am and so on, using the first string for the melody between the chords.

The Godin ACS-SA: yes, for me it's a real dream-come-true, but when buying it, I suggest you to try BOTH versions of it. There is a "slim neck" for those  who prefer having an "acoustic neck" feeling, and a regular classical neck. Although I'm definitely NOT a classical player, I've prefered for myself the "regular" one (my hands are rather big...). It's perfect for me, BUT even more if coupled with a machine like the Roland VG-99: this way, connecting it through the 13-pin cable, with the most comfortable guitar neck I've ever had, you play with hundreds of patches, most of them (NOT all...) of high quality. Before buying it, I had a Variax 700 Acoustic. Well, absolutely a different world, and in fact I've sold it. No regret. I love the Godins. And as acoustic guitar, I own a wonderful Seagull, and as electrical, I've a Godin Freeway SA, so probably this brand is the right one for me! :D

P.S.....OK, OK, my English is awful, I know... :(
