Inspired by the parent/child collabs being posted, I quickly knocked this out. I'm suffering from a stinking cold and sore throat and Baby henwrench is only just 4 and madder than her father. She introduced me to this great song by Karen O.

Brilliant! Love the sort of breakdown in the middle. Great idea, and a great listen. Really enjoyed it. Even for a quick track the way you approached this was clever and the multiple vox are great.

Does she like the end result? It would be really great to have her keen to do more stuff as she gets older. BTW, did you ever hear "Dechromium Cob" by Ted? It has an amazing daughter intervention/collaboration, I can see Baby H headed in the same direction.

I really enjoyed this, henwrench & baby h! Sometimes, those quick knock outs are real keepers, like this one.  :)

I first thought Karen O was a child singer...nope!  ::)

In addition to this being very sweet to listen to, it is a real toe tapper, really fun sing-a-long song here the way you cover this.  The fun you were having shines through.  Your voice sounds so very warm on this one.

   I believe she is the lead singer from the 'Yeah Yeah Yeah's' who might be some sort of punk band from New York. But I may be completley wrong. The original song is from the soundtrack to this totally bizarre Spike Jonez film called 'Where The Wild Things Are'.

Very special indeed. I love all the multiple takes, overlaps and interjections. It adds up to a very touching and totally enthralling production. Kind of typical henwrench but with a lovely added twist. I hope your daughter remembers this moment fondly, and I'm guessing that you feel this way already. Funny, sunny, magical stuff.

Hey Hen - that's pretty cool. Baby Hen can actually hold a tune not too bad for 4 yrs old!

Hold on to those tracks man.
It ain't pretty being easy.
