Hello everyone!
Well I've owned this little wonder for just over two weeks now and this is my first effort.
I figured a loose interpretation of a Van Morrison tune would be good for quickly getting started and getting my feet wet.

I once made a stab at PC recording a few years ago, but I soon became quite frustrated with the steep learning curve and I drifted away.
I saw an ad for the MBR and it hit me...maybe this would be good for quickly moving from instrument to instrument and tracking without the sometimes convoluted mess of the PC.
Well it certainly provided that and more. I'm amazed at how fast I was able to get into the flow and start tracking and mixing stuff.
It's provided a rebirth of sorts for me as far as getting back into music.
I even went and bought a Roland HD1 drumkit so I could just perform my own drum tracks as opposed to messing with a drum sequencer of some sort which used to drive me crazy.

So anyways, I have a long way to go as far as mixing, mastering and playing, but I'm quite stoked at what I was able to achieve in such a short time.

I love this little gizmo!

This is beautifully performed and put together. I like everything you've done on this; just goes to show what you can do with the BR and a lot of talent!

Looking forward to more!

Hello Knute and welcome.

I love what you have done with this track. It's one of my favourites and you have done it justice.

I bought my MBR on a whim, I saw it in my local music shop and bought it there and then. I have not regretted my hasty purchase for a moment. It is a fantastic little device. Some people on this forum have really mastered it and have produced some stunning original work.

I hope you have a lot of fun here. Keep contributing.

Cheers

Harry

Thanks guys.
I appreciate it.
This is a cool little community here.
I'm glad I found it.

wow!! brilliant.

I need to start messin abt with the drum tracks! haha

drutgat

Fantastic performance, regardless of what it was recorded on.

I must get to grips with the drums as you've shown me what the machine is capable of (although I miss the functionality of my Zoom PS 04 in this regard).

Thanks once again.

If I understand correctly, the Micro BR's built-in drums were not used. Instead, the drums were performed on a Roland HD-1 electronic drum kit:

Zoom R20

Boss BR-864

Ardour

Audacity
