Geir's approach to beatles fest

he has declared war on all things Beatles and is slaying them left and right. Another outstanding cover Geir.

Nice work Geir.
I've never heard of a Morgan acoustic, but it sure has a nice warm sound to it.
I also like the use of the  electric, it really suits the song.

How to you like the bass sim on the br as compared to using a real bass?

The only saving grace about the original is that it's not as bad as Maxwell's Silver Hammer, lol. I'm not fond of the original, but I like it much more when it's been given a Geir makeover. Your 'Viking gravel' voice makes the whole thing much more earthy. Beautifully done - AS ALWAYS! Lol.

Brilliant, great fun and are those wacky drum beats really on the MBR? Loved this, really enjoyable and uniquely Geir.

Cheers,

The Morgan is a Norwegian brand (made in Asia somewhere :) ) I'v posted some more info and a picture here

Is far as I have figured out the preset patterns are the same on the BR800 as on the MicroBR, so yes!, those patterns are also on the MBR. I think most of the ones used here are from the Country-2 patterns.

That would explain it - I've never ventured into the Country presets!

I love them!! OK it's not the same as the real thing, so I won't be selling my Ibanez bass anytime soon, but the quality of the resulting sound is really good, and the respons is so fast you don't get the feeling that the bass is dragging along behind you. I've used them on three recordings now (as I didn't have the bass nearby) and I won't be hesitant of using them again, if I don't have a bass with me when recording,
