I haven't much time to record the last week, but yesterday I got some hours with the new 800. (OK it did get late :) ). Still struggling a bit to find the right patches and mastering effects to use. Used BR800 rhythm editor for the first time, and tho it opens a lot of possabilities, it's quite time-consuming.

I wanted to do a Macca-cover and ended up with this one from maybe Paul's best album post-Beatles, "Band on the run".

I really should know this song, but I don't...do you suppose Joey or Dee Dee Ramone had ever heard it?

Anyway, I really liked your cover, Geir - nice full production, and great to hear something else from the BR-800.

All this in one session? You're quite productive! And the result is brilliant  :).

ahhhh sorry forgot to mention that I started out the drums the day before, making the fills that wasn't possible to find in the standard patterns.

Thanx for the comments !!!

Another gem! I don't know the song either but I like this.

Great job of programming the BR-800 drums. It is time-consuming, but you'll get faster as you become more familiar with it.

Guitar effects and recording quality sound great. Did you use a real bass on this one or the BR-800's bass simulator?

How are the mics in the BR-800 compared with the Micro BR? Did you find you could back away from them a bit more than you would with the Micro BR, or is the sensitivity about the same?

Another Geirfest spectacular song. If it took you long on the drums you made up for it on the recording..NICE!!
