Hi all, this story goes back to when we were on tour in Turkey in 1969. We were playing on a base near the Syrian border and had the good fortune to meet the Padre who suggested that after we had finished playing that night we visit him in the chapel. What a blast, he had the biggest speakers this side of Mecca and the Colonel couldn't touch him because it was holy ground. Well every head in the camp was there, Three Dog Night or Hendrix played loud enough to shift the wax in everybodies ears. I dedicate this song to a man of the cloth who was really a man of the people.  Les W
