God, I love this!

I have a streaming cold and bad throat, so will be having a play with this when I get a half-decent vocal range back...

I added lyrics to blues in G. What do you think?

cool daniel,
very laid back. I will see if I can "copy and paste" and create a little bit of more room for the song. intro, verse, verse, solo, solo, verse...

I know "blues" can mean blues, but I have realized that the blues I like is not so much about that as about sex. (I once played with a really good guitarist who gave me a good advice: "Playing blues is like fucking, don't go to fast and do everything at once...")
Anyone with some steaming lyrics?

I have some pretty good lyrics (well, I think they're ok!) written and ready to go. I'm hoping my voice might be up to adding them this weekend. Watch this space.  :)

These are great. Love the ending of course. How did you fiddle the BR to get that long distance voice sound? Only reverb?  ???
I cant wait to hear LesPaulGoldTop's lyrics... But don't turn this into a contest !

I was just thinking again about the fucking metaphor. I know you can put plenty of testosterone in a song, but still, in my opinion, music is for the ears, and sex is not. this is how those new lirics came to me.

No offense mad rab, I am very respectful for your music. I'm only having fun.  ;D :D ;D

I had a play with this one over the weekend, and had to start singing from the start to fit three verses in. It's just a rough demo, although panning the vocals left a little seemed to work ok as a balance for the main guitar part.

Funny how Jim and I have come up with totally different interpretations, though maybe predictable that both have references to drinking! I like the story-telling feel of ORH's though.

Mine is called 'Got no Key' - it's a song about being thrown out, but the key in the lock is also an old blues metaphor for you know what  :)

I've gone fairly straight with my version. I almost turned it into a cover of the Doors 'The Cars Hiss by my Window' at one point because it fits so exactly.

Anyway.. here it is, vocal limitations and all!
