Latin style rhythm

I am a started again guitar player. Haven't touched my guitar since I was 19 and now nearly 50 and have bacome inspired once again. New to drum arranging and am a little dissapointed that there are no latin type patterns. Does anyone know if it possible to create this style with a BR?

I had no idea that was a bossa nova!

I was wondering myself why the latin rhythms were lacking. Not that I use a lot - it's just kind of nice to know they're there when you need them...
