I bow down before the alter, I look up at the high priest with crazy mirror sunglasses on, I listen to the sermon of the Geir, I am a true believer, I have seen truth, I stagger out of the church of Geir into the sunshine, a big smile on my face, I am whole once again, and full of the holy Geir-ghost, off to spread the word of the wonders I have just heard...

*I do not intend to offend any deeply religious persons or person with my little story there, and if I did offend, then I am sorry and can only offer one solution, you must listen to this song 1000 times, all the while standing on one leg and chanting the mysterious mantra "Geir, Geir, Geir...".

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

Damm , you've gone and done it again , making me change my mind as to your best cover , this is definately it , that altered tuning guitar , the laid back vox , the fucking amazing organ intro , it's got the lot , as Greeny said , you have made the words actually sound sincere , i'd give anything to spend the day making music with you Geir , even just watching

that gather all the times and tides at once we love within."

Bloody hell Geir. Bloody hell.

Off for another listen. I can't believe I have just listened to that....
We are here on Earth to fart around. Don't let anybody tell you any different
- Kurt Vonnegut.

Flash Harry

Still speechless. It's like I've never heard that song before.

I always prefered Joe Cocker's version to the Beatles because it had more 'Soul'

Joe has been usurped.

I really can't add to all that has been said here , except to say that I am personally moved. (once again)
