This is one of the only songs i wrote where i actually wrote the lyrics myself.  I am almost embarrassed to post this, because i am horrible at lyric writing, and the lyrics are such sappy garbage that it is just sad.  But i decided to do it anyways, i want to know if i have any talent at doing this or not.

Great song, nice chords, superb voice....did you record this live? I wouldn't worry about the lyrics, they scan well and work!! That's all that matters.... Myself, I can only muster a cluster of words for each horrible little song I post here....

I think this sounds very good.  Great guitar playing (the chords are fab), vocals are very nice and the lyrics fit well with the music.  Nothing wrong with this song, its quite good.

Those chords and chord changes are BEAUTIFUL. This is a heavenly piece of playing and songwriting. Aren't a lot of song lyrics simple? It's better to mean what you sing than sing something clever. These lyrics work just fine. And I love that guitar so much. More please!

No need to worry! Imagine all the songs we would have never heard if they had to change all the lyrics to something deep and intellectual!

This has a John Mayer feel to it, if you you dont mind me saying. No, that's a good thing, it sounds real nice! :)

I think the thing is, sometimes when you create a song and then put it out there we are bareing a personal side of ourselves.
It's a very enjoyable listen, thanks for sharing!
