recording electro and vocal

just got the BR, and so far all ive managed to do is record me singing and playing guitar, thru the mike...
 is there a way to have my electro plugged in(amped up) and record vocals at same time? hope this makes sense to someone

To record the guitar line in and Mic both together press GTR and MIC at the same time as you select the input.
