Well here is one of the less known from Abbey Road. I decided to not include the vocal parts in the second half of the song, the "verse" so to speak. All guitars are recorded directly into the MBR with the built-in preamp. The drums are just my synth-set, lined into the MBR. And the speaking in the end of the song is through the MBR mic. When I recorded the song, and listened to it, I heard the how much Fleetwood Mac's "Albatross". And I had just listened to SRV's Lenny, and made this song in sort of the same fashion.

This is such a good cover sq51 , one that deserves more comments , i would'nt go as far as saying its one of the lesser known tracks , to me me this is one of the songs i remember most because of the great harmonies , but saying that , it stands well purely an instrumental , you have done well layering the guitars , and getting good tones , it had me singing over the top as i listened , i hope it gets more listens

thanks guys. with saying lesser known i mean that people not listening to the beatles, who only heard the most famous tracks, probably haven't heard of it

I like this a lot - great sounds and an awesome feel to it.

Beautifully done. I love this song, and the similarity to 'Albatross' isn't co-incidental - John fully admitted to the influence of that Peter Green gem. There's some great guitar tones in this, and the lead work feels very free and easy. Great treatment of a great track.

Ferryman_1957

I was really enjoying this and desperately wanted some lead vocals to complement the wonderful guitar work, and then the lead gtr came in - really good treatment and a great idea. Lovely expressive playing and a great take on the original. The spoken part at the end is a nice touch!

Cheers,

Nigel
