I'd happily just listen to the isolated bass track of this one. What a great bass line. As for the rest, it has the henwrench spanner in works that we all love. Quirky, funny, melodic as hell, and with an oustanding lyric. There's a bit of the 'Syd Barretts' about it to my ears. The 'ashes' bit is especially inspired. Although sprinkling them on your enemies dinner when they aren't looking might be an alternative...! It sounds like you have a new appetite for writing, because they're coming thick and fast with serious quality. Oh yeah.

Oh yeah, another great tune. Love that quirky guitar coupled with the melodic bass riff. You really construct your instrumental parts well. And the harmonies are great as always.

I see what Greeny means by the Syd reference - you are into 21st century Syd territory here....

dizzying, head-spinning, mind-squeezing, face-melting heaps of notes, chords and measures.  Saying that I like the way it makes my head feel gives an indication of my inclination.  All going to add up to one word...yes.  I like the groove of it and yes, your bass really makes this one, I agree.
