Definitely coming along Neil.

I've only started trying to sing since I got my Boss600.  I pratice as much as I can singing along to songs while I'm driving to work -an hour's drive each way.  I used to play in a band with a girl who was a fantastic singer and I remember her giving me lessons on how to breathe when I first attempted backing vocals.   Sure you can find techniques on the internet to help.  keep em coming!

Much better, Neil!

Keep at it, and remember to really listen to singers - their voice is like a musical instrument. Even if ones pitch isn't perfect all the time, ones timing and phrasing can make or break a song.

Really cool that you've taken up singing Neil, and it's getting better all the time !!

Cuthbert has a good point, timing and phrasing is essential in making a performance sound great. Some songs are easier in that respect than others. This one has parts of both. On the fast part I think your timing was great on the the other part you sounded a bit more insecure. One thing that helps (besides rehersing over and over again) is "feling the beat" .. tap your foot or clap your hand on the thigh or whatever get's you into the rhytm of the song. That will help the timing of the singing come more natural .

cheers
