Although All You Need is Love and of course Imagine said it in a much more profound way, I believe this song, catchy as it is corny, was the seed that planted John's reoccuring theme of universal love...or maybe this is just one big sentence run on...we're having a heat wave...in the 90's f and I've had a slow steady intake of beer since 2pm this afternoon.

recorded live (after the first three beers) to MBR mic. b/g vox added.

Hope you enjoy...

Sandy.

Oh yeah, a very tasty tabletop masterpiece! Nothing like soaking up a few pints and chilling with your acoustic.

Damn, this is catchy - It's almost like you've created a new song!

Well done, Sandy! Great choice for BeatlesFest...this is one of my favorite songs from 'Rubber Soul', and although it's not one of their most well-known songs, stylistically, it really shows a blueprint for what they'd be doing in the next couple of years.

I really dig the vocals and the soft harmonies you did on this, man! And nice finger plucking on yer geetar as well!

Love this BeatlesFest...  8)

It is a pity I haven't listened many songs from the Beatles Fest. Each tune I have listened has been just a top class. So is this!!! I have always liked Sandy's way to cover songs. This is so hypnotic... Stunning!

I didn't even know this song!
This BeatlesFest is a turning point for me in the way I hear this band.

I've always said it begins and ends with The Beatles but my appreciation for their work has been boosted immeasurably this month.

Anyway, as always this is an enjoyable number from you, Gritter.

I'm going to have a couple of beers myself and give it another listen.
