This is a really good song... really well written, the minimal execution makes it heavy (in a good way), and it's a really fine recording.

Making me feel like writing some more originals myself.

Sheer class. Yet again, it's in a league that the rest of us can only aspire to. Sadly, I think Mr Knopfler himself could only aspire to write something this good these days. The Knopfler influence is clear, but you have such a great control of the music and vocal that it takes its own path to greatness. Your voice has a perfect edge of grit and experience to make this sound so totally convincing. And I can only dream of playing guitar like that, lol.

Oh boy this is just up up my street. Mark Knopfler yes, but closer I feel to the Notting Hillibillies with the minimilistic approach used here. But at the end of the day it's Trev playing and singing and to me it's supurb............Willie

So glad I didn't miss this one.  Deadly song.  Thats some fine picking there.  I love the story in this song. I love everything about it.  Great vocals, very expressive.
