Hey, T!  Great song~~~ it sounded like the bass E was dropped to a D - love that bass string in my face.  The theme reminds me of a song I composed for my daughter a few years ago - that no matter how dark it may get (in our minds) there are always flickering lights that we can follow, and one brightest of all that will always lead us home (The Flickering Lights - in Drop D a'laDiego)...  Great lyrics!!!  Cliiiing = cheers!

Your vocals continue to strengthen and your arrangements are organic in structure... I just love it.

OK, On my 3rd listen now and this what I hear/would love to hear.

During the final chorus, Don't look down...I hear friend chiming in with you. sort of like dancing around the camp fire down by a lake... just good friends and good times. Mix in a little laughter and for a killer ending, have your kid join you for the last two lines... At the very end of the mix your kid should be the last voice heard, whether singing, talking or just laughing.

This is a killer song, Bro. and you continue to smoke that guitar of yours.
 Had a feeling you had something cool coming.
