I agree that this is smokin'. Could you post the lyric up, having a hard time hearing on these speakers.
I really like what I hear.

wow, great song - powerful sound.  Soundgarden is the band that comes to mind, and I can even hear some Chris Cornell in the vocals - which is saying something!!

Go on, tell us what you did with the vox??

There are only 12 notes, how hard can it be?....

Great music !! Fab playing and singing !!

I'd like to have the vox a bit louder in the mix, but apart from that great mix too !!!

As said - a pretty powerful sound - put the vox up if you like - or not if you don't want to and I'll listen to the voice as another insttrument in the mix.

Good post.
Guild Starfire 5, Fender Telecaster, Fender Stratocaster, K Yairi and Walden and a 12 Stagg string acoustic guitar and other music making boxes - including mandolin, bouzouki and 5 string banjo, uke and acoustic bass - a few M-Audio keyboards and a flute - all played and treated with equal love and attention - zoom ut 2 pedal and Logic Pro X

Thank you all for the kind comments. I'm not surprised some of you hear Seattle stuff in this track as I'm a huge fan. Kevin, I have listened to Cornell all my life and have posters all over the place but I wont even dare to compare - this guy is out of this world. As to what I did to the vox - really not much, just maximum compression like AndyR thought me. But I couldn't replicate his "exciter" technique. I still don't understand  how to extract the maximum of the mbr - I got a lot to learn.  On the vocals at the end of the song I added also a guitar effect which had some nice delay and I liked the sound of it. As for the lyrics - I'm sorry but English isn't my first language so you have to excuse me for not saying the words properly :P The words are actually not mine but I picked them from a site for "free to use" lyrics - sometimes I find it easier that way when I'm looking for an inspiration. I also tried to put the vox up in the mix but it doesn't work well - I guess it's because my recording skills aren't good enough yet and when they are a bit louder they don't look to good in the final mix.

Excellent stuff, can only agree with the others. Great heavy groove, nice dense sound and superb sounding guitars and vox. The whole thing works really well together - more like this please!

Cheers,

Wow! That's a powerful song.
As already said, it really sounds like Chris Cornell is in there. Are you absolutely sure he didn't come to your place and lay down a vocal for you?! ;)
Congrats! Cool stuff!
