I'm using a usb cable to hook up electronic drums to my pc-want to push it as far as possible.
How far can i go without losing signal loss?

Looks like the cable length limit is 5 meters (@16 feet 5 inches):

With one or more hubs plus cables, you can extend that (more info in the link).

That's for USB 2.0. As far as I know, the BRs use USB 1.1 which has a maximum cable length of 3 metres (9.8 ft). However, you might be able to use USB hubs or repeaters (active cables) to extend the length. You can also get an adapter that lets you use CAT-5 network cable up to 150 feet with USB 1.1, but it's not cheap!

I'd check with Roland Tech Support before buying anything. Some USB devices don't work well with hubs, repeaters, and extenders.

Oops! Just realised that you were talking about electronic drums - not the BR. Assuming your electronic drums use USB 2.0, then cuthbert is correct that the maximum cable length is 5 meters. I mistakenly thought you were talking about the BR.
