I think it's great - low key and hypnotic. It wasn't too short, but it felt like it ended too early. In music, that's a good thing.

Listened to the original version last night, and the version with Covermarks' guitar additions this morning. Really liked the first version, and the additions really do fit perfectly, a real example of knowing when to play at the right moment, it really does compliment the vocal perfectly.
